Premium teams

Mad Puck Premium Teams have the following extra features:

  • *NEW* Pickup - Game Pick - Before each pickup skate, players can vote on which team they think will win. This adds a fun layer of competition before the game even starts, encourages more balanced teams, and gives players a reason to stay engaged from the moment teams are posted. Game Pick results also feed into the Locker Room leaderboard, giving players another way to compete over time.

  • *NEW* Pickup Stats Tracking - Track player stats during pickup games so skaters and goalies can see how they perform over time. Adding stats to pickup hockey brings more structure to each skate, gives players extra motivation, and makes every game feel a little more meaningful. It is a simple way to turn casual pickup into a more engaging experience for everyone.

  • *NEW*3 Stars - After each game, players can vote for the 3 Stars to recognize standout performances. Unlike Player of the Game, which is chosen by a coach, 3 Stars reflects the opinion of the players on the ice. This gives the team another way to celebrate strong performances, adds more post-game engagement, and brings a classic hockey tradition into every skate.

  • *NEW*Pickup - Leaderboards - Leaderboards highlight top performers across the Locker Room, Player, and Goalie categories. Players can follow their results, compare with others, and stay motivated throughout the season. With stats, 3 Stars and game picks, leaderboards help create more competition, more conversation, and more fun around every skate.

  • Roster cumulative stats visibility – Control who can view cumulative stats for all players on the team roster. Coaches can keep roster stats private or choose to share them with players and/or parents based on the team’s needs.

  • Event assignments - Assign players, coaches, staff, or fans to specific roles for practices, games, and other events. Examples include Room Mom, Bench Helper, Trainer, and more. You can also assign them to bring specific items like pucks, first aid kits, and water bottles!

  • Stats export - Export game and cumulative stats in CSV format. Exported data is emailed to all coaches on the team. More info

  • AI-Generated Interviews & Post-Game Reports – Mad Puck interviews players after each game and sends out an AI-generated post-game report based on the context of the game and the interview questions and answers.

  • Waitlist - Players can join a waitlist if they want to participate in a game or event.

  • Lines - Setup and publish lines before games

  • Pickup - Teams - Organize and publish teams for pickup hockey teams. Rate players and automatically generate teams of equal skill. Note: Lines/team are not currently available for football/soccer teams - if you are interested in this feature please reach out and let us know: info@madpuck.com​

  • Promote sponsors - Automatically promotes sponsors between periods in the live play-by-play and in the post game reports.

  • Images - Add images to chats and play-by-plays. More info

  • Player awards - Recognize player achievements during games and practices with custom awards. Fans receive notifications when awards are given, keeping them connected to the action. Coaches can track and manage award distribution to ensure fairness throughout the season. Players can view their awards in their player dashboard.

  • Support Mad Puck - The majority of the features in Mad Puck are completely free to use. Subscribing to premium teams (and/or premium fan) will help build new features, assist with ongoing maintenance, server costs and other business related expenses. Thank you for your support!​
